Capital’s I-15 Allottees to Receive Possession Letters Today
Islamabad: On Thursday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, will present the possession letters to approximately 5,500 people who were assigned to Sector I-15.
The possession letter will be issued to a decided number of allottees during a ceremony in the Prime Minister’s Office. The remaining allottees will receive their possession letters once the necessary legal procedures have been completed.
The transfer of ownership of the entire sector to its allottees will be a first in the history of the civic authority, according to Member Estate CDA Muhammad Afnan Alam.
According to him, the Estate Wing has streamlined the processes on the instructions of CDA Capitan (Retd) Muhammad Usman Younis, and committed employees will also be deputed to ensure a smooth transfer of plot possession to hundreds of allottees in I-15.
He also stated that the built-up property award difficulties, which are preventing the building of roughly 1000 plots, would be dealt with urgently and transparently at the doorstep in accordance with the policy directives provided by the Chairman CDA.
The management of the authority was placing a lot of emphasis on the development and building of the city, so the allottees would receive possession after a 15-year period.
Sectors I-15/1, I-15/3, and I-15/4 recently finished development work that included building a drainage system, a sewerage network, streets, street lighting, culverts, and other residential facilities.
Prior until today, plot owners would not be allowed to build homes on their plots since possession would not be available for an extended period of time.
It is important to remember that the sector was stuck for decades as a result of unfinished development work, but the CDA administration has now finished the work by resolving the concerns.
