CDA DWP Agrees to PC-I of Margalla Highway Expansion
Islamabad: On Wednesday, Captain Noor ul Amin Mengal, chairman of the Capital Development Authority, presided over a crucial meeting of the CDA Development Working Party (CDADWP).
During the conference, several public welfare initiatives were authorised. The Margalla Avenue Extension Project from N-5 to M-1 has received PC-I approval from the CDA Development Working Party. Similar approval was given to the PC-I of Lehtarar Road from Khana Pull to PINSTECH.
It is pertinent to state that the PCII of employing a consulting firm for the Kuri Enclave Mixed Use Housing Project was also approved during the meeting. The meeting also approved PC-II of the project consultancy service for Orchard Heights and PC-II of the project consultancy services to undertake the Road Safety Audit in Islamabad.
Captain Noor ul Amin Mengal, the chairman of the Capital Development Authority, gave the order to put PC-I preparation in the purview of PC-II.
The committee authorised the project for the computerised illumination of Islamabad’s underpasses, overhead bridges, monuments, and significant buildings.
