CDA Restores Water Supply to Two Residential Areas
Islamabad: Following the completion of repairs at the RL-1 Water Treatment Plant, the water supply has now been restored in sectors G-7 and G-8.
It is pertinent to state that two weeks ago, the Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) Water Management Wing started the repair work that resulted in the suspension of water service to two residential sectors, namely G-7 and G-8.
It can be noted that for many months, residents of these areas had been complaining regularly to the civic agency about the quality and lack of water delivery.
Technical issues were discovered during the initial inspection, which led to the start of repair work at the treatment plant.
For the past few months, the municipal organisation has been working feverishly to improve the city’s water supply. In this regard, leaks in the supply lines have been repaired, and pipelines in various parts of the city have also been replaced.
Furthermore, damaged tube well conduction line segments have also been repaired, increasing the availability of water in various locations.
According to a representative, the repairs were successful, and this water purification facility is already supplying water to the residential areas.
