PDWP Approves Nine Sector-Specific Development Plans
On Tuesday, the Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved nine sector-specific development plans with a total estimated cost of Rs. 16,013.51 million.
These plans were adopted at the 17th PDWP meeting of the current fiscal year 2022–2023, which was chaired by Abdullah Khan Sumbal, the chairman of the Planning & Development Board.
These projects include improvement of several projects including: Sahiwal-Arifwala Road to Harappa Bypass via Malan Shah Chowk, Length District Sahiwal, Rehabilitation of Metalled Road Sahiwal to Pakpattan Length, District Sahiwal, Rehabilitation of Pakpattan Kamir Road from Chowk Arian Pakpattan to Saqb Adda 26/EB, Rehabilitation of Metalled Road from Pakpattan to Marlay Chowk through Purana Thana, Length 41.25 km in District Pakpattan at the cost of Rs. 2,198.991 million, and many more.
At the meeting were Provincial Secretary P&D Board Dr. Muhammad Sohail Anwar Chaudhry, all Planning & Development Board members, Provincial Secretaries of the appropriate Provincial Departments, and other senior delegates.
