Rapid development in Punjab, 97pc of ADP budget consumed

0 LAHORE: The provincial government of Punjab in the Fiscal Year 2020-21 has spent 97pc of total development budget – the highest in 10 years.
As per the Chairman Planning and Development Board, out of Rs308bn a total of Rs300.7bn have been spent on the development projects.
Speaking to the media, the chairman was of the view that the development fund has been utilised as per the directives of Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and also to facilitate the people of Punjab.
The provincial government has spent 96pc of the total budget allocated to transport, and 98pc of the total urban development budget.
