Furthermore, in order to relieve the city’s congestion, he said, Special Economic Zones would be built along Rawalpindi’s Ring Road. He also claimed that by implementing the long-term strategy, encroachments from the city could be permanently rectified.
Moreover, he stated that RDA will support the business community at the time and encouraging exports and investment from the private sector is the key to solving Pakistan’s economic issues.
According to him, the One Window Operation Center was built to benefit both the general population and the corporate community. He claimed that OWOC is now resolving issues with the approval of building designs, housing schemes, changing the use of land, and transferring properties for RIT programmes.
In order to expedite construction operations and builders and developers, he added, the RDA has established a deadline for the issuance of No Objection Certificates and the approval of building plans/maps.
He claimed that because of RDA’s business-friendly policies, construction activities are quickening and the organization’s revenue has multiplied.

The Rawalpindi Ring Road will be a significant driver of the city’s expansion in a south-western direction. According to him, the creation of Special Economic Zones along the Ring Road will direct the growth and development of the city toward contemporary town planning techniques.
